Dr. 特伦斯 弗里德兰德 specializes in cancers of the genital and urinary organs, in particular bladder and prostate cancers. His research focuses on understanding the basic biology of these diseases and developing new ways to overcome resistance to treatments.

弗里德兰德 earned his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at 加州大学旧金山分校. He received a Fulbright scholarship in 2006 to study medical ethics, and he completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at 加州大学旧金山分校, 当他担任首席研究员时. He has also received an American Society of Clinical Oncology Young Investigator Award.
